Verified ReviewerA Plea for Poutine: An Ode to Cheesy, Gravy-Covered Joy
Dear McDonald's,
I hope this letter finds you well and perhaps with a craving for something truly magnificent. Picture this: golden fries, nestled beneath a blanket of squeaky cheese curds, smothered in a rich, velvety, brown gravy.
Yes, I'm talking about the one and only poutine!
Now, before you dismiss my plea as the ramblings of a crazed food enthusiast, hear me out. As an avid lover of both McDonald's and poutine, I couldn't help but wonder why these two culinary delights have yet to join forces on your illustrious menu in the States.
Allow me to paint you a delicious picture. Picture yourself walking into any McDonald's across America, the smell of fries wafting through the air. But wait, there's something different.
Among the Big Macs and Chicken McNuggets, there it is the glorious sight of poutine! Can you feel the excitement building??
Imagine the joy on customers' faces as they sink their teeth into this glorious concoction. Picture the Instagram posts, the TikTok videos, the viral sensation that is McDonald's poutine. It's not just food; it's an experience, a journey into the heart of Canadian comfort food.
And let's not forget the marketing potential.
"Get your poutine fix at Mickey D's!" The slogans practically write themselves. Plus, think of the cross-cultural exchange! Americans discovering the wonders of poutine, Canadians rejoicing at its newfound accessibility it's a win-win situation.
So, I here by implore you to consider adding poutine to the McDonald's menu. Embrace the cheesy, gravy-covered joy that awaits.
Trust me; your taste buds will thank you. :)
With fries and gravy dreams,
Allysa Kelly

Verified Buyer | Columbia, South CarolinaWorst McDonald ever
Stopped at McDonald after work cause I worked late, I sat in the drive thru for 45 min, after being told to pull up to side window, went inside the kid behind the counter asked what I needed told her I didnt receive my food, she said oh you need food, I had to tell her 4x what I ordered, and than she kept forgetting things, I asked to speak to the supervisor the supervisor yelled that she would not being coming out. I had to tell the kid behind the counter dont make me get my wife, and she asked what that would do, I am the nice one. Never will I ever go back to that McDonald everyone needs to be fired

Verified Reviewer | Warr Acres, OklahomaI used to work there and have no respect for owner and higher ups
I found out from my old coworker that still works there that apparently they had a fire that started that the fry station no to far after I left. I remember a professional handy man suggesting we needed new equipment but that process went through and the higher ups denied in so in process putting their employees in danger.
I am disappointed and wonder how they are in that position if they dont have a care for their wellbeing of their employees. Also this go with everything in the store like ice cream, frappe, coffee machine, one time I was there and the ice cream machine was broken and the handy man suggested to get new parts we sent the request to the office and the higher ups denied and suggested to use old parts and doing that the machine broke not to far after that. The higher ups/ owner have the money and resources but refuse not to use it and in process us the employees/ regulate crew members with no power get all the hate/ complaints from customers, in process the higher ups/ owner get on us with it all the their doing that cost this. We the regular crew members are doing the best we can with our limit resources that are given to to us.
Also I want to mention the tech guy whenever we have issues we call him and he always is rude to us and has bad attitude, and not helpful in way shape or form we havent have to figure out the tech problems ourselves or wait a week for him to send his daughter to come do his job for him his name is Erik by the way. Also I rate one star because corporate/ higher ups the food and customer service is always best they always have the best attitude even with their *** situation.

Verified Buyer | Russellville, ArkansasRude manger
Hello,
I am trying to reach the corporate team that handle complaints for McDonalds. I am located here in Memphis and visited the McDonalds here in Memphis at 2994 poplar Memphis , Tn 38111 Restaurant #6092.
My mom and I ordered and dined in and the experience was very unpleasant as the morning shift manger was very rude. After recieving our food we sit down in the restaurant to eat and I witnessed her being rude to other customers. There were some people walking out of the restaurant due to her rudeness.
I would hope someone addresses the issue at this particular location. Thank you and have a great day.

Verified Reviewer | Seaside Heights, New JerseyHigh prices, miniscule portions, poor customer service
I have not visited a McDonald's for about 4 months. We decided to stop for breakfast before going on to shopping.
Our order consisted of a bagel with egg and cheese, an egg McMuffin and two coffees. There was literally no one else in the restaurant. The food was barely warm, the coffee was cold and I kept on having to ask for cream and sugar. By constantly being told how many how many?
My egg McMuffin didn't satisfy me in the least and it was gone after two bites. The bagel was fair at best. It seems McDonald's has put profit over customer satisfaction, a real round in today's society. As a family we used to go to McDonald's and thought it was a big treat and the food was good the prices were good and we were very happy to go.
The cost for this little menu was almost I could have gone to a local cafe and for a little more had a totally satisfying breakfast. This is not a family place anymore because who could afford it? I always had great admiration for McDonald's because of the wonderful things they do for children.
That may still be so, but it certainly left a bad impression and I will not be returning for a long long time. Sorry I don't have more positive things to say but they are certainly not deserving in this case.

Verified Reviewer | Miami, FloridaMore.for employee specifically Trina st rt 84 ft lauderdale fl.
Hi I don't usually make petty complaints, however the way I was treated a few nights ago was insane. First I'm going to.start by asking a question I know.the answer to.
McDonald's accepts pennies correct? Last time I checked pennies were a currency I was sure all.buisness take. Well last Sunday of January 2024 I went through one of your drive thoughs off state route 84 in Fort Lauderdale Florida. I ordered my meal¹, paid pulled up and kindly asked for a BBQ sauce.
Now I didn't already have any sauce whatsoever, sometimes people ask for 25 or 50.cents for an *extra* sauce. I did not even have any. Anyways, the woman rudly told me 25 cents. I was a little annoyed but since I was starving dug through my purse for 25 cents.
I had used my card to pay and didn't have cash. I came up with 20 cents. The lady said no and walked away..I looked around my car and came up with the rest. I tried to hand the woman my 25 cents after frantically looking for it.
She then proceeded to tell me " we don't take pennies " now I'd like to point out that I was extremely polite throughout this entire endeavor and gave this particular person absolutely no reason to treat me like this..when she would not accept my 25 cents After telling me I needed to give her for a *free* sauce I stated that "that was not true, McDonald's accepts pennies" I asked her name, she replied " Trina" I doubt that's her name. Now I have lived in USA all.my life and McDonald's is basically a culture thing here, never have I been told at a McDonald's I need to pay for a sauce when I didn't already have one and then after just chalking it up and attempting to buy my own free sauce was denied it because the currency
pennies. This.woman humiliated me, angered me, made me lose my appetite, and denied me the food I paid for. She also lied, saying that pennies are not accepted.
Oh yes maybe she was not lying . No money is necessary to purchase a free BBQ sauce that already is supposed to be included with my meal. This isn't about the sauce. It is about the insanity this employee is acting.
It is my strong opinion she should he fired, as I will never ever step foot or drive through that McDonald's ever again.
And this puts a bad taste in my mouth for.all.mcdonalds. if.mcdonalds.is.going to allow staff like that then I will gladly go.to.any competitor.
User's recommendation: MCDONALD'S DOES NOT ACCEPT PENNIES
This is the worst
