McDonalds review: Bad Food

I love the idea of all day breakfast but, I don't want to get cold dried up food at 3am. If you are going to serve breakfast all day, then make sure the food is fresh. I also feel that it should be full breakfast not just a sausage and biscuit. The next thing hire people to work at the windows who have a positive attitude and not let the customers know how much they don't want to be there. I know it is a hard job but, these employees know this when they are hired. They knew the pay is low and the work is hard. IF you come to work it doesn't matter if you aren't happy with your life, your job is to make the customer happy. You should have compassion in any job, it will make your day better if you just try.

McDonalds review in Blairsville, Georgia: Long wait for dry, cold, hard food

After waiting in line approximately 15 minutes, when we received our food, the fries were hard and cold, the meat was dry and hard, EVEN the buns were cold! McDonalds used to be the best fast food chain around! Now its a gamble as to whether or not you are going to waste your money or get the food you are craving! Our local McDonalds just keeps getting worse and worse! The employees always look miserable and basically just throw your food out to you, the cleanliness has gone down greatly and it seems like corporate doesn't care what the owner operated stores are doing! Get it together McDonalds!!

Well I guess you are perfect and don't make any mistakes ever. It is nice knowing you are so perfect. Holding up a line to wait for one penny, that is just ridiculous and pathetic.

Mcdonalds Staff Review from Greenville, South Carolina

Female DT order taker had us wait a minute then came back on the mic and said, "What do you want?" I said, "That's not how you great the customer," and my son said, "you're rude," but neither of us got a response from her. As we ordered she continually said, "What else?" or, "Is that all?" When we got to the window she gave her headset to a guy and said, "Take this, I don't have any people skills tonight, I'm too hot (or high or tired, we each heard something different) for this ***." The guy laughed and said, "At least you're honest," like swearing in front of the customer is not only okay but it's something that's normal during their shift. He at least wished us a good night. I didn't ask for any names but tried calling as we drove away but no one answered the phone or I would have let the manager have it.

McDonalds - land of the upcharges

McDonalds has financial problems and alienating their customers with these sneaky upcharges is going to backfire on them. I'd love to organize a boycott at my local store and fill the parking lot and restaurant with people holding signs that say "upcharges will lead to your bankruptcy". No one would be able to get in to eat their food or pay their upcharges......sweet!!!!!! I am so incensed about these upcharges I should boycott them myself, but I guess I'm addicted to some of the food. Always eat off the dollar menu and there won't be upcharges. We should have a national movement against this and get them some really bad publicity - Volkswagen style!!!

I had the same experience today. I ordered a meal which is shown on the menu board as including a hash brown and a hot beverage.

I was asked what I wanted to drink and I said coffee. When I looked at my receipt, I was charged an additional 29 cents "upcharge" for a medium coffee.

I never specified the size of the coffee I wanted and if asked I would have asked for the smallest size or whatever size came with the meal. Instead, I was just automatically charged extra for a drink larger than the one that is included in the price of the "meal".

McDonalds review in Albany Creek, Queensland: Uncleanliness in Rocklea Store on the evening of McHappy Day 17th October 2015

This evening 17th October 2015, I was hoping to just get a couple of pairs of socks for my grand daughters, as one had a special crazy sock day at school coming up, anyway I thought I'd have a coffee while I was there, but that's when I thought about the day and those sick kids so I ordered a Big Mac, after receiving my order I went to look for a place to sit down, the only table clean enough to sit down at had two of those flip make your own burger clip menus on them, they were so greasy from finger prints I moved them to the end of the table. Two other tables around me I think there are only four, were all dirty, food under the tables as well as on them, and a fly as well. I could not believe it. This time of night was not busy, at 8.42pm. Apart from being served by a gum chewing attendant, whose name will stick with me for quite some time, dark hair and glasses, I couldn't believe she didnt do anything while she wasn't serving customers, I saw there were only two other staff members in the store, one poor young man in the back doing the preparation or heating up of burgers by himself and one other young girl serving the drive through. I couldn't tell if a senior manager was there or not. I was there for about 40 minutes when a woman came looking for a table to sit at while she waited for her order, and very hesitatingly sat at the dirty table next to me, as I was finished my coffee I offered her my table as I had felt sorry for her. She accepted without a second thought and even thanked me, we both commented on the appearance of the tables, and I left. I was quite shocked at the lazy attitude of the girls, if anything they looked bored. In thinking while it was quiet they would sweep the floor or more importantly clean the tables! I shan't be going back to this store again. The staff could take a lesson from the Springfield store, they have so much staff every time I am there, I see always someone sweeping the floor, and cleaning tables, staff seem to be happier and friendlier. Tonight I think they were fortunate that I wasn't a Health & Safety Officer I can guarantee they would have got a good talking to! Clean up your act Rocklea! I only regret not taking photos to prove what I have told you.

I applied at a mcdonalds for a job before getting a call from them i accepted another job opportunity but was willing to check out what they had to offer anyways so i took time out of my day and paid a babysitter while i went to my interview just to find out the manager who was suppose to do my interview went home sick and no one bothered to call me to resechdule very poor management , then i called back to reschedule my interview and the manager on duty that i talked to before told them i never showed up for my interview !!!! Very poor managent after this im boycptting mcdonalds for sure that company has gotten horrible with their customer service and management and unless they do i major turn around i wont be upset to see them fail.

Today went to McDonald's, food was cold, mcflurry was almost empty, they took about 15 min. To get to next window, Tryed to give them money and said we were supposed to pay at the last window, the lady just was standing back stacking things! I'm mean we were standing write in front of that window for over 15 min. She could of taken our money then! Tryed to explain to the guy she did not take the money and they basically called us liers, also some stickers were already taken off the sticker sheet of paper from happy meal! I would not mind that but with all of the other things! Also many other problems!

The frappe machine takes around 30-45 minutes to clean. I know at our store the maintenance man does it when he gets a chance and usually that is in the early morning when there isn't much of a demand for frappes or smoothies.

The ice cream machine goes through a heat cycle every night automatically to pasteurize the mix, it takes several

hours to cool down enough to form ice cream. If they are doing the weekly cleaning of the ice cream machine, that takes a couple hours because they have to drain it, totally disassemble and clean all the parts, then put it back together and fill it and then it takes time to get back to the correct temperature.

It sucks, but these cleanings need to take place or else either machine gets really gross, really fast. Your morning cravings for frappes and ice cream unfortunately do not coincide with the majority of the customer's appetites.
