McDonalds in Blackfoot, Idaho - False advertizing

I had a bad day today. First my cat died. It was squashed by a Mack truck and I had to peel it off the road. Then because I had to tend to my cat I was late for my job and got fired. Someone had flattened my tire and I had to walk five miles to get a spare. I went home and found out someone had broken into my house and stole my collection of Russ Meyer movies. This was the worst day ever. I thought I know, I can go to Mcdonalds and get a happy meal. That would make me happy. ***, not only did that meal not make me happy, I was also more upset because the meal did not fill me up. This is false advertising. If you claim this is a happy meal it should make you happy. This was not the case as I felt worse after having your HAPPY MEAL.

The Oxford English Dictionary suggests that the word derives from attire, while other sources suggest a connection with the verb to tie. The spelling tyre is used in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand after being revived in the 19th century.

Both tyre and tire were used in the 15th and 16th centuries. The United States did not adopt the revival of tyre, and tire is the only spelling currently used there and in Canada.

@Brian

Actually in England they spell it `tyre` instead of tire.

If you insist on making joke complaints please make them funny and not quite so lame. The Russ Meyers reference will be lost on most and isn't funny.

I heard Ken at the McDonald's store on Vance Jackson say a negative 4 letter word. I am a customer. I saw him wash a table barely. I could see the streaks of the non washed table in the light. He used that rag over and over and over again. I saw that he did not wash...

Sure, he wasn't a good employee, but you weren't a good customer either. It's not your place to tell people how to do their job.

Seriously, it doesn't matter what job or workplace it is, you're lucky he didn't tell you off and was nice by ignoring you.

That's why you go to the manager because it is their place to tell them how to do the employee's job.

I've been a Mcdonald's customer for over 25 yrs but I was never more disappointed with the lack of customer service on November 15th of this year. I had just left my dentist office with my three kids. It is about 1:00pm. I had taken the day off work to spend with...

Wow. The parent of the year award goes to you.

You took a day off to spend with your kids, yet decided to go through drivethru, instead of going in. A 12 year old crying because she got the wrong food, yet she still ate it. Both times you got the screwed up order was on you. Everyone knows to look in the bag before leaving.

And then even after you went inside you still didn't look in the bag?

That's all on you then, so you have zero room to complain about the employees screwing your order up. The real question is how do you feel obligated to complain about customer service when you did everything wrong yourself?

McDonalds in Des Moines, Iowa - Found nat in drink

I took my grandchildren to get some breakfast at the McDonalds on Jordon Creek Parkway in West Des Moines Iowa. First off the person behind the counter didn't seem to care whether she was there or not and wasn't paying to much attention to our orders, as I order a sausage/egg biscuit and received bacon/egg instead. Didn't complain as figured I could eat what I had. What I am complaining about the most is when my grandson went to fill his drink before leaving he hollered for me to come look. Inside his cup was a dead nat. I immediately took it to the counter and finally got someones attention and showed them the contents of the cup. No apologizes was given or anything just handed me a new cup. I can't believe that they wouldn't at least say "sorry about that let me get the manager," but like I said nothing was said. I hope they check the ice machine out before long as what makes me sick is the thought of my grandson drinking out of that cup while that nat was in there. Sorry but that is gross, and if it happens to the wrong person could be cause for good old lawsuit.

Kevin don't forget employees who give handjobs and refuse to offer their hands after their special service. For those who get their hopes up unfortunately this service is only offered in England.

Mike don't forget employees who go to the washroom and don't wash their hands after handling their *** then go back to work making sandwiches and chips.

A gnat? That was probably the healthiest thing in the drink!

You really don't want to know what is ALL of the food we consume daily but I'm going to tell you anyway. The FDA has what is called "Allowable Levels of Filth" in food products, to include rodent droppings, rodent hair, bug parts and some other undesireables.

This, of course, doesn't include things like poor hand-washing, which spreads fecal bacteria (that's ***), sweat dripping into food, pus from the pimply teenagers oozing into the food, snot from the worker who has no sick leave and must come in to work sneezing, drooling, and dripping. Shall I go on?

Nobody can ever assure you that mistakes won't happen. What "more" do you want McDonald's to do? Build a time machine so you can go back and NOT *** the burger?

This is not the first time I have been disappointed by McDonalds. During my previous visits, I would order chicken nuggets and they would be dry and sometimes undercooked or overcooked.

I agree customers need to treat employees better. I disagree that if my order is constantly messed up, I need to stop visiting McDonalds. If an employee is constantly messing up (and this goes for any field / business) that employee needs to find another job.

Maybe the other McDonald's isn't as busy as the one you are whining about. Certain times of the day are busier than others for restaurants.

You don't know what has went on at that particular restaurant before you got there.

One more thing why would you go to any restaurant that has a play area. When kids are taken out to eat, they should be learning how to sit and eat and behave like respectable human beings.

Okay, first things first, if the manager says no, then don't get mad at the employee that has to deliver the message. Secondly, if you noticed your screen was wrong, you say something then, not just assume.

Third, wraps are expensive by themselves, so assuming that it was in a combo was *** on your part. Also, flurries can't be substituted in for meals, so again assuming it was a meal was ***. And lastly, if you're worried about your food getting cold, don't sit at the window, holding the line up, *** about the fry that you didn't pay for.

Come in, go back around, or go home. It's pretty simple really, if they ask you if everything is correct and it's NOT correct, you fix it right then and there!
