Veteran Refused entrance to McDonalds

I am a Vietnam disabled verteran, on oxygen 24 hrs a day.I was shopping at a local Walmart in Cincinnati, with a McDonalds located inside Walmart. I paid for my purchases & started into McDonalds to get a coffee to go. I had my grocery cart & my oxygen tank in the cart. When I started to enter McDonalds, which had NO customers, two employes yelled at me & told me that I was not allowed in with my cart, I tried to explain that I only wanted a coffee to go & was refused. I was told that I was not allowed in with my cart.What a great way to treat your EX customer at Christmas time.There is such a thing as American Disability Act & I am going to see if they enforce their rules. McDonalds sent me a letter apologizing for the bad service. There was no service, was not allowed in.To the two employes that was working that day, hope some day when you are old that you are treated the same way.

I have to agree with funny man. And I feel bad for your disability, my mother was a smoker and on oxygen.

But ADA does not apply to shopping carts. I would guess with all of your health problems, you probably should not be driving.

Have someone drive you around, and they could get your coffee. You need a girlfriend :)

I'm not trying to be a *** but it's not an age thing it's a safety hazard. The store can be empty or full doesn't matter.

They have to enforce that rule because if OSHA is there and sees this they get the fine not you. Thanks for what you did for our country but that card is getting played out.

Rules are rules. You should know better.

I didn't understand some of that, but here in the states it is up to franchise whether it makes sense economically to be open all night to sell $1 items. At some point, the system has to shut down to tally up the sales so McD corporation,banks, credit card companies, etc can figure up what they get.

It takes about 20 minutes. All electronic. 3:00am is prob slowest time. They explained it to you so you had a choice to wait or leave.

Might as well break employees at that time than any other, right?

McDonalds - Disturbing evidence of illegal conduct in edmonton macdonalds.

Dear media relations, and Macdonalds corporate offices: I have taken a picture on my cellphone of the vicious assault and demeaning conduct of your phillipino manager at the macdonalds headquarters in edmonton alberta on kingsway avenue just next to the Royal Alexander hospital, edmonton. alberta. december 30 2012 at 7:05 pm She repeatedly hit a man who may have been of no fixed address, however, that was not proven nor an issue. 2ndly she was taking the law into her own hands. 3rdly the man was resting on the table much like he was asleep. He could have had a heart attack, stroke or otherwise. I was there the whole time, and he did not confront her. She was the aggressor, She was vile, uncivilized and uncouth and did this in front of other customers causing them extreme pain, and discomfort, she endangered herself and others, as the man may come back and take action against people. we never know , and or the man could have arisen and killed her for assaulting him, ' It would have been self defense, and I would have had to testify and not lie. finally another man stood up for the invigorated, and unanticipated wanton discriminatory and viscous conduct as perpetrated against this man and defended him, by stating that they could call an ambulance or whatever, and not be taking matters into their own hands, he was yelled at by the phillipino's and by Robin, Rama and edith. one of those name tags was the phillipino manageress I believe it was Edith, for December 30 2012, at 7:05 pm when this criminal act of your employee occurred. This person was verbally threatened with a call to a male phillipino by the above manager, and the male phillipino in a macdonalds attire, followed the male that tried to defend the victim -=---------outside, and as he walked I came out on the other side of a big transport truck delivering goods to the macdonalds, and I heard him yell at the male person that had been defending the victim, that he now banned him from the building, and that he would personally "smack him in the face" if he came back there in the future. This is not Russia, This was horrible vile conduct and had it occured in china or the phillipines, we might have said, well there is a communist style government and people have no rights. but this is canada, this is wrong. this is illegal, what are you going to do about it? There are many killings by homeless people and the aggravation which this employee caused will surely aggravate the homeless ( if he was one, and I simply do not know) . I did call the police because this manager was acting out of order, and illegally and was going to lie about the victim, it was obvious from what she said. This is cruel, no wonder we have knifing, and killing of innocent people by the homeless, with this insensitive hostility and rage by these phillipino's acting under the color of the corporate seal of the Macdonald corporation.! McDonalds in Maple Grove, Minnesota - #1 core value my ***

“We place the customer experience at the core of all we do.” –McDonalds #1 core value. They say 1 in 20 customers are willing to write a comment letter on the service received. This is the third letter that I have written about your corporation on two Maple Grove locations, the second one for the 6255 Sycamore Lane North, Maple Grove MN location. Today I ordered a 20 piece Chicken McNugget, a Deluxe Angus, and a McFish sandwich. I ordered extra sauce, and even though the clerk made a big deal on the extra sauce and I had to wait for French fries for 10 minutes, they forgot the sauce and the McNuggets were ice cold. The Clerk was sitting on a stool when I pulled up to pay and was very rude, the man who brought my fries out was in such a hurry to get back inside from the cold he may as well have thrown my fries into my open window (the fries were cold as well, which is curious considering that I had to wait for them). If placing the customer experience at the core of what we do is one of your core values, than you have failed miserably at this at both of your maple grove locations. I only live 5min from both locations and receiving cold/old food, even after waiting for it, and getting home only to realize that you have forgotten the sauce is inexcusable. I have been told by your management at the weaver lake road location, on a previous incident, that I should check my bag for condiments before leaving your parking lot. Seriously…it is now the customer’s job to check that employees of McDonalds are doing their jobs. On my last letter I stated that the 3rd strike would be your corporations last for me, and I will no longer be buying food from your company. I’m not your biggest customer, though I do spend on average $20 every time I do stop at your company, but you’ve lost me and my family for life. Please do not try to coax me back with thoughtless coupons for free food, as I am serious in not returning. In this age of multiple choices on the same block for quick eats, you cannot afford to be second rate in the quality of service, and you cannot afford to rely on your name carrying you through. Thanks for the good service on most of the occasions and shame on you for the handful of bad experiences. Former McDonald’s customer, Neil, from Maple Grove. P.S. There is so much wrong with this complaint I don't have enough space. There is NO WAY all of your food is cold.

Food is kept hot in holding ovens after cooking that are too hot to touch. Fries take 3min & 10 secs. Sauce is sometimes forgotten, mistakes can happen. Runner was in a hurry to get back to his job of OTHER customers, did you want a date?

Fast food is to be eaten "fast".

If you take it home, it will need reheated. When you take food off the stove, it gets cold right?

And a hamburger is ground up cow, mashed back together in the round shape of a patty, and ham is parts of pig with water and salt added, and hotdogs are parts of beef and pork shaped into the shape of a....well you know, and hashbrowns are potatoes cut up and mashed back together and shaped in various shapes. Remember tater tots as a kid?

Did you think they grew on trees like that?

These complaints here make me so happy I don't work at McDonald's anymore being treated like a dog by the rudest, whiniest, most self righteous, STUPIDEST customers on the whole planet.

The ice dispenser is automatic, you can hit extra ice on the order but the machine never actually dispenses it

McDonalds in Virginia Beach, Virginia - Bad service

Sirs, I have been living here in Virginia Beach, Virginia within walking distance of McDonald's for 23 years. Almost every other day, my wife and I buy something from McDonald's. It has been great, I had a complaint 10 years ago, but everything from that time on has been good. However, for the pass 4 or 5 mouths, every time my wife or myself, goes to McDonald's to order anything, the food, the completion of orders, and bad communication, has been really wrong. The people at the McDonald's at Independents Blvd and Bonny RD/Euclid RD, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, have been very rude, unconcern, and never a smile/thank you. I am tired of this kind of business. You do not need this kind of services. My neighbours have had similar problems. Please do SOMETHING !!! Thanks and May GOD Bless, Your customer, Bill and Theresa P.S. There is a Wendy's right across Bonny RD. They are like McDonald's was 4 or 5 Mouths ago.

Because the McRib is a seasonal menu item, they use its limited time run to capitalize on profits from it. People buy it now because it's only around a short time, SHOCKINGLY... sometimes people buy so much that the store's SHIPMENT will run out (You mean that the food in a restaurant doesn't magically appear, never running out?!)
