Very poor customer service, laughing at complaint | McDonalds review from Amsterdam, North Holland

Last 22/02/2013 I went to McDonald in Amsterdam Address: McDonald Damrak 841012 LG Amsterdam - Time: 1:30 After ordering my big mac meal and chicken nuggets I asked for extra ketchup which the counter lady told me was in the bag. Once I got ready to eat my burger I did realize 1. there was not enough ketchup (only 1 sachet) 2. the ketchup was not even Heinz (As all McDonald's have around the world) I did get back to the counter and politely I asked for another sachet of ketchup. To my surprise to find that the lady on the counter told me I have to pay €0.5 and also wait for her to finish serving other people who was queuing. Not only her rude attitude was against customer service in McDonald but the fact that I was being charge and made waiting for a ketchup is against any McDonald experienced I have ever had. Long story short, I did have to wait 10 minutes for the lady to finish serving (as she was doing it in purpose) and by the time I got back to my seat, my burger was disgusting and cold. I did asked for the manager and complaint about the service. I told them about the waiting 10 minutes for ketchup and as a result having a cold disgusting burger. Apparently, there is no customer complaint sheets at McDonald (reason is clear) To my surprise, they did not care about it but they also start laughing talking in Dutch. A dutch speaking person told me they were laughing at me not eating the burger and how I am going to have to go home without eating it. Just to say that as a multinational I do expect the same service in McDonald around the world and consistency on either charging or not for a bloody sachet of ketchup. And in any case, a customer should be noticed about their 1 ketchup policy and any extra at a charge of €0.5. None was the case but, additionally, somehow, the staff at McDonald found it very funny and decided that the best to do is laugh about it and do not bother whatsoever. This may be just one reason more for me to do not ever go to a McDonald and I hope many people start realizing how awful this company is becoming loosing control of their franchises and offering none-to-nothing customer service.

Any store discontinues things that are no longer selling. Try things from different restaurants.

However, when my late mother was terminally ill with cancer she would be really hungry for some of her longtime favorite foods and one of us would fix it for here and she would eat a couple bites and that was it.

Also one of my daughters is undergoing radiation treatments and doesn't like the taste of anything.

Truck bumper damaged by potholes | McDonalds review from Frostburg, Maryland

After parking my tractor and trailer in the truck parking lot and going in to get food to go I got stuck in potholes in the truck parking lot when leaving the parking lot. I had to be pulled out of the potholes because they were very deep. Damage to the bumper of the truck was caused from going in the potholes. My bumper was bent back almost to my wheels. I went in the restaurant and spoke with the manager. He was rude and didnt care. Everyone there could see what had happened.I have photos of the damage done to my truck that was caused by the potholes.

That must be quite the McDonald's if they have a truck parking lot. The fast food places where I live have their lots so that the delivery trucks can back up to the rear door of the building, but there is not truck parking lot and the actual parking lot isn't big enough for tractor-trailers.

How is your driving his fault? If the pot hole is deep enough to bend your bumper to your tires, then you are negligent as there is no way in *** you would not have seen it. McDondalds probably doesn't even own the truck lot.

I feel for ya. Every time I go thru I'm missing something.

EVERY Time it's not only a waste of money But my time. And if I can't stop what I'm doing to go back for my missing items, they can't do anything. Why are we the people who keep them in business the ones to lose?

Why is it that our Mcdonalds here in Port saint john florida can not seem to ever get our order right consistantly,Tonight was the back breaker,i went down to get food for trhe family spent $16.00 and a little change,i got out of my car and went in because every time i go thru the drive thru they give me old soggy nasty fries,but if i go in i get good ones,not soggy cold ones,also i like to make sure i get all my order before i leave as on multipul occasions i have been shorted hamburgers etc or a frie,well i went in and got my order everything looked good till i got home and my gf said Honey come here there is no meat on my hamburger,they gave us two pieces of bun with just cheese on it,then on our large chicken Mcnuggests they shorted us on 3 mcnuggets,had i wanted a smaller size i would not have ordered the large mcnuggets,this has really gotton rediclious with this Mcdonalds its a *** shoot if your gonna get all your food,or if its gonna be fit to eat as my double quarter pounder was cold,and i live 2 miles from mcdonalds,i have lived in this neighborhood 20 years,and i quit eating mcdonalds except for every now and then because it has been so screwed up down there,so this was my first visit in a couple months there,but we figured we would give it a try again as we like the food when its given to us in a etiable manner and its all there,and we get a hamburger pattie on out hamburgers,this is rediclious i was gonna go back down there pitch a hissy fit.but its not worth it

Do you really think when a person orders chicken nuggets that they count the number that goes in the container, and if you do, you really need to get a life. When I order things like that there are times I get more than expected.

There are times when I go the place that I go most often I order 10 along with two sides. When I get home, I divide them evenly with my daughter and she has one side and I have one.

A lot of the time there is more than 10 in the box. It is time to grow up.

Bad food and service | McDonalds review from Tallahassee, Florida

when I went through the drive thru I place my order and I ordered fish bites I asked the girl that gave me my food if there was tartar sauce in my back, and she asked the guy that put the food in the bag if he did, an he told the female attendant yes. Then the girl reassured me that there was tartar sauce in my bag, but when I arrived home my fries were cold, they we're hard like potato chips, and there was no tartar sauce in my bag at all! I called the store and the manager asked if I was close and when I said no he told me he was sorry and nothing else!

for some reason when i go to a mcdonalds in my hometown ..all the employees forget the difference between sweet and unsweet tea and ice and no ice...and forget how to be friendly..seriuosly everytime..really people come on..

When ordering take out, check the purchase while still at the drive up window or at the register. If it isn't satisfactory they will correct it at that time.

Being you didn't live close enough to go back to the restaurant, it is your fault that your fries were cold when you got home.

Did you pay for a second large coffee or what?

Are you actually dumb enough to think she would admit to being a child rapist. Managers in those places work hard to get to be managers, and they are also responsible for the book work, so they have to have a certain amount of smarts.

If a restaurant screws up ONCE I never return bc there are literally hundreds of restaurants to patronize.

Customer | McDonalds review from West Palm Beach, Florida

On four different occasions I've gone to McDonald and purchase food for myself and family through the drive thru and always end up with the wrong order or being short of what I ordered. I don't understand what the problem is. whether they're trying to hurry with the order, they're not paying attention or they just don't understand. I find it very frustrating having to drive about 10 minutes away from your house order a meal and get home find out that your order is either short or you someone else's order which does not even worth the money you've paid for. Last night once again at the drive thru. I ordered a 10 piece chicken nugget meal for my mother, I thank God that my mother looked in the bag before I drove away. I found out that we were served just a few french fries in the box which i can easily estimate as 11 fries. I went in McDonald spoke to the manager and explained to her that my mother has not even touch the fries yet, and showed her what was served to us. She apologized, took the box and refill it. My reason for complaining is because it didn't happen once, twice or three times. This is the fourth times. If the trainees or the managers are not doing a good job training or managing the staffs in order to have repeat and satisfy customer, someone higher needs to step up and have a meeting with them so they can do a better job.
