McDonalds review in Johannesburg, Gauteng: Poor quality of milk in tea

Occurence: 21st January 2013I was simply appalled at the inept, unsatisfying quality of milk utilised in the tea. It simply tasted like plastic/containers. My partner & I felt nauseous after two sips of the tea. Ultimately, we were forced to throw away the tea. However, there was evidence of good customer-consumer relationship via the cashiers (one optimistic point about McDonalds here).Also, McDonalds must specify how many KJ/calories there are in the food. The company's quality of burgers is another story. Did anyone else experience a similar story in South Africa, Joburg, Gauteng?...**/***** (rating) (two stars out of five stars)

Absolutely. I work in a part of town that has been run by and commissioned over by blacks, yet the Hispanic population has taken over in the last 10 years.

The McDonalds built not even 4 years ago, has illegals working at it, and they speak no English at all. They pick the "best English speaking" one to run the drive thru window, and its ridiculous how guttural and uneducated their vomit-like language is. Having to pay so little and hire locally has destroyed this location.

Last week I was at a WalMArt and they were speaking that bastardization of the "Spanish" language called "Mexican" over the intercom. So much for the U.S.A.

McDonalds review in New York, New York: Rude, people that should not be working with food

The mcdonalds on prospect ave in the bronx is the most ghetto place on earth. The Workers are mostly under 25 and on more than one occasion i have witness gang Members loudly playing with staff all while on duty.staff could care less if people are happy .even management treat customers like animals. Dont go to any of the Mcdonalds location because if its not the staff that is rotten, than its the food. Fast food is not waiting for 20min for hot soda and cold food. There was a time when eating at a Mcdonald was a family thing where you would either take your kids for a happy meal or just cofee before work. The days of a fun, family friendly Mcdonald have gone with the wind. All that is left is unhappy customers what now.

It doesn't take much to see the same monkeyshines a person has seen all their life. "Walking in someones shoes" isn't going to change the decades of poor family history and social destruction that creates the ghetto by the hands of those who live there themselves.

Criticize all you want, because they don't listen. "Expectations, based upon past experiences" is a far cry from "racism".

Hello, I seem to remember reading that if a merchant discovers a counterfeit bill, that they are required by law to keep it and turn it in to authorities. But, that does not excuse the merchant from lying about calling the police.

I think you could make a formal complaint with the police about the conduct of the merchant.

But, I doubt you will get back your original five dollars whether or not it was counterfeit in the beginning.

McDonalds review in Buford, Georgia: Old Food

At exactly 11 oclock I placed an order for a quarter lb meal. I first asked if the $3.99 promotion was in effect. The manager (Hispanic female) informed me that this McDonalds (inside Walmart on hwy 150) did not honor promotions which is not true cause I've done it before at this same restaurant. Anyway I placed my order for the quarter lb meal at the normal price. It was a eat-in order. After a couple of bites I notice the bun and the meat was stale. I told the mgr and she just gave me this dumb stare. Another employee (Hispanic male) who I believe prepared this junk had this smirk on his face. Nobody offered to replace the meal nor did they offer an apology. They knew I was eating in but still didn't gave a dam. I'm calling corporate tomorrow because first they should have honored the promotional price and here I am paying full price for yesterday leftovers!!@@##$ ***!!!! The only reason I mention hispanic is so someone can identify these two employees.

McDonalds review in Macclenny, Florida: Disrespectful Managers!!!

I order a couple mcdoubles in drive thru at the mcdanolds in Macclenny Florida. There was a young lady at the first window just as sweet as she could be, so I had to ask for her name because she is the only one that was always polite, her name is Nisha. Anyways my order was wrong so I went in to talk to the manager, but I waited for almost 15 min... before a manager came. I told her my problem which she seem to have an attitude but she got my order strait. As I was waiting. She was talking about her own co-workers also using profanity. Also the men there was Touching all over another manager there. And neither of them was doing nothing about it. I asked the manager i spoke with for her name and she said javonda. I have NEVER seen unprofessional managers in my life. you dont embarass or treat your co-workers like trash. So who ever is in charge better take care of this problem or I will take my business else where......

I'm annoyed that there is not the consistency from one location to another. Most locations do not charge for the dipping sauces. Hartsville, TN & Canton, TX does. Thats ***. Give catsup, salt, pepper, straws, napkins, and such away and charge for sauces?...

I disagree with most commenters, if you went to any 'normal' restaurant you wouldn't be charged for sauces, it's part of eating at a restaurant. The grocery store comparison is absurd.

By the way, no matter how brand new the McDonalds (why that mattered in your post I do not know), the mocha and latte machine SHUTS down automatically to clean and sanitize itself every so many hours and those drinks are not available. If you have a question, just ask.

Mocha drinks, hot or cold, come with whipped cream - ask for it without.

And it is difficult & time-consuming to put your hand under steaming hot coffee machine to add splenda while others wait behind you - just ask for a packet. Walk inside and watch your drink being made once
