McDonalds in Dawsonville, Georgia - Price gouging on food

On march 16 2011 went to mcdonalds restaurant in chatsworth, ga. and ordered 2 double chesseburgers for a dollar each with tartar sauce on them instead of mustard and catchup and they were going to charge me $3.19. when I asked them why they said they charged extra for the order to be changed. But added if I would have left the mustard and catchup on there wouldn't have been a extra charge. I would have charged me $1.02 for the tartar sauce. If that's not food gouging I don't what is. The3re should a law against that.

For years I've looked forward to March, when I can get a Shamrock Shake. This year, they kept the prices for the "size" of the shake the same, but cut the actual size in half, put it in a "McCafe" cup, and put whipped cream and a cherry on top. The large shake I...

Well, I'm not entirely sure why you're likening it to trying to be "international", since they've been making these shakes for at least 30 years. I am not pleased that they're no longer just a shake, and have been put in the Starbucks-like category.

They also don't seem to be the same thing they used to be. I don't remember them being such a fake tasting mint. But I never really started drinking them until about 5 years ago. They aren't like toothpaste, but they're sort of a chemical tasting mint.

It's the kind of flavor you'd imagine would appeal to children.

Not sure why that's so, since they can make authentic flavored chemicals for just about anything, and mint certainly shouldn't be hard to do. I wouldn't expect to pay $4 for a chocolate shake, so I was surprised when I was asked to pay that much for a mint one.

McDonalds in Horsham, Pennsylvania - "McDonald's" - The Golden Arches Ripoff!!

I was at a drive-thru window in Philadelphia 8900 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia on January 15, 2011 awaiting my order and "ICE and Snow" came crashing down damaging my car. The store manager and insurance company upon first contact indicated they would cover all damages and then the flip from both to "not there problem" is this any way to do business! If this was your house or mine we would be held accountable for the damage and most likely then some. I have emailed McDonalds corporate and customer service and no action to date on their part. BAD Business from Big Business!!!

Mcdonalds Black Angus Confusion

I went to the Mcdonalds at Harpers Farm Rd in Columbia MD and they have a huge communication problem. I went into the store to order a 1/4 Black Angus Mushroom and Swiss burger. The beaner behind the counter began saying, "Angus, el senor to see you aqui!" A big black smelly man named Angus came out and said, 'Wut chu wunt ***?!" I said I want a black angus burger I didnt ask for you. He said, "***, I iz big like burga, an named Anguz. Wut du wunt ***!?" I said I want my black angus burger ***. He stripped off my clothes and gave me anal.....BIG TIME! He shoved a black angus burger in my mouth while he shoved his black angus *** in my brown eye. I didnt like it very much since I bled out my *** for 3 days. Mcdonalds, stop hiring beaners and black men named angus

McDonalds dropping the "how may I help you"

Rather than jot down a long winded complaint, I will just share this. McDonalds, in Chicago (Logan Square) has THE worse customer service, food as well as location I have ever been to. A former customer, who disregarded the unsalted fries, different tasting burgers and not the best kept place as far as cleanliness is concerned - it was just a short distance. Despite the wrong orders and slow service, I still went there. HOWEVER, after dealing with the most unpleasant McDonalds manager who not only treated me like some hoodlum off the street, but discriminated against me by insinuating that I had been loafing around their establishment for over 30 minutes, which I had not. I had only arrived, but did sit for a moment to make an important call. Picture walking in the freezing cold and finally coming to a warm place to grab a hot meal - but before I did anything I did pull out my mobile and sit for literally a matter of minutes before having a manager approach me out of the blue, and instead of saying something pleasant (Remember the commercials... "Welcome to McDonalds how may I help you") I was peppered with (and not in a positive welcoming tone) .. "have you ordered", "you cannot be here for more than 30 minutes" and going on (without taking a pause) to inform me about policies, ordering, customers, time limits and so forth. I was shocked and could not believe I was treated like that. THEN this manager proceeded to lift their hand up and tap on the wall as if to say "you have to go" .. ALL of this was within a short amount of minutes from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. When this McDonalds manager was done with their speech, I got up and walked out - incredibly offended, I felt they discriminated against me and did not give me a chance to say.. hey, I AM going to order. Its a joke, the commercials with the smiles and *** is such BS!!! I do know that 80% of the McDonalds restaurants are privately owned, and each owner runs it how they want. THIS particular location is truly the one on my list of WORSE customer service, and more. Sad that such a great company is lead by owners who have no peoples skills, cuts corners on the McDonalds way of preparing food as in NO salt on fries, burgers taste bland, and could care less if they have your order right. Too bad no one is overseeing these privately owned venues. I have not returned to McDonalds, and will be more than happy to go the extra mile and grab some grub from Burger King. when I think back to how I was treated, and how I felt when I left.. I have to say.. it was such a horrible experience. I was not physically thrown out, but certainly verbally thrown out. I was a regular customer. Was.

My local McDonalds I have taken a seat in for literally 5 hours or more working on college homework without purchasing anything but a soda. Of course if it is packed I won't waste a seat, it's more uncomfortable for me anyway to be around all those people while I'm doing work.

But I've never been approached with anything but questions on what classes I am taking, and asked how I was doing today.

I live in Indiana though, in the country. When you live in a city, you have a greater chance of finding rude people.

While I agree with you about the rude behavior of the employees, honestly, is it really THAT big of a deal and that much of a surprise to you?

It's a fast food restaurant...in a large city...are you really that naive to expect a red carpet to be rolled out for you by smiling McDonald's employees any time you want to order a double cheeseburger?

You make it sound like you were emotionally scarred for life! And why didn't you just speak up and order when you had the chance??

I went to McDonalds in a really bad mood, saw they had a Happy Meal so I bought it. It only made me steaming mad. The hamburger was really small and the drink was a kiddie drink and it had some *** plastic toy in it. They did have some nice free napkins and straws...
