Went to McDonalds of Houston, Mo. to get order of double cheese burgers, mc chicken & fries.

I asked for condiments of bbq sauce, & was told that i had to pay 20 cents for the four i asked for. I think this is ridiculous & the people who work there thought so too. They quoted they were just doing as they were told. I dont think i was asking for much!!!!!

Mcdonalds of Houston, Mo. needs under new owners & management, before its good name is really taken downward, & the people here go to different eating estabulents.

Please help with this situation. thank-you

Wow. I can't believe how absolutely *** almost every single person on this site presents themselves, except for the initial poster ofcourse.

The guy is a divorced dad who wanted a condmiment people and that's all! The issue isn't if Mcdonalds is healthy for him or his children, and who the heck are any of you people to now judge where a person eats? Yes, Mcdonalds is a business, yes they need to ensure profits are made but if someone wants sauce to dip whatever they purchase from this establishment then they shouldn't be charged upwards of a 2000 percent increase on the actual cost of what Mcdonalds pays for its sauces. Also to the retard that stated the dad should buy a bottle of bbq sauce at Walmart instead?

Are you just plain ***? Why would anyone after spending good money at Mickey D's then go buy an entire bottle of bbq sauce for one meal? Did you ever consider that Mcdonalds bbq sauce has a distinct taste and it can't be purchased at ANY store! Ofcourse you didn't because you're an ignoramous!

Look I'm an 27 year old father of two who likes to get his kids a treat from Mcdonalds every so often and I'm absolutely sick of *** such as the majority of you posters only being able to say, "you're a greedy pig". You sound like illiterate fools. Here's an idea, if you support Mcdonalds with such enthusiasm then maybe take your *** and get a job at one of their "fine" eating establishments. On the other hand, it appears most of you only have the intellect required to make fries anyways so you probably do already work at Mcdonalds!

Otherwise stop protecting a freaking HUUGGGEE corporation like Mcdonalds and remember who pays their bills, WE DO! The consumer!!

I agree with Irish and you are a greedy pig. Before they used to leave them near where people can get them, but because of greedy people like you taking more than their share, not only do they have to put them out of people's way but they have to charge for extras.

Taking one or two extra is find, but you wanted 12 originally. Like Irish said, they are a restaurant, a business, not a soup kitchen.

Sounds about right. The NcNuggets have the most fat and calories of almost all of the McD meals. It only stands to reason that Mr Hog and his Piglets would complain about not getting "enough".

Think!

You have no one on your side. Relax, be cool and think before you submit.

Hey people! It's me, Sean/truth.

Do you remember the show some years ago that showed how people go to fast food places, load up on condiments and take them home to save money. That is technically called fraud and is considered stealing. If we as Americans wre not so ***, then maybe we should not have to pay extra.

Remember, businesses have the right to charge freely as they see fit for business. We stop stealing and they stop charging.

Take a look at what you just posted. You ordered two expensive sandwiches, plus fries.

If you ate with your kids, you would save plenty enough money to buy a bottle of barbecue sauce...and it would probably be healthier too. Hehe you might even have enough money over to buy..oh idk...VEGETABLES?

I love bbq sauce. I order it to dip my sandwich in...but I don't get four packets and I don't sacrifice other people's (like family's) needs to do it.

Then hobble your *** over to walmart, buy some bbq sauce. If it's cheaper then do it. Besides, what god forsaken American household does not have at least 1 bottle of bbq sauce??

First of all I orignially asked for 12. I only had enough money for four.

My children were having chicken nuggets and the package that I bought from the store only came with Chicken Nuggets and no bbq sauce. Second charging 20 cents per sauce was not cool and ridiculous. I only had enough money for four so my children had to do without sauce for some of their chicken nuggets. I am a divorced father and cannot afford to pay the ridiculous fee of 20 cents per sauce.

I can get 40 nuggets at no name brandsfor the price of six which I get at Mcdonalds so if they charge that much for nuggets surely they can afford to give me free sauce? Thanks for commenting *** WHy should I pay more for sauce than a box of nuggets.

They sell for $4.97 at Walmart for 48. They charge half that much for six.

How can she say it nicer. After all she could have called this person a greedy pig or freeloader which she basically is.

One package, perhaps two is enough for the fries. The sauces are for chicken nuggets not fries. If this person were not a greedy pig and freeloader and asked for one or two than they would probably have not charged her. However this greedy pig/freeloader wanted four.

Cathy you are right they used to be free but with people like her they are charging. It is because of people like him/her that they have to charge. What is ridiculous is asking for four sauces. What does he want to eat the fries or watch them do the side stroke, because with four packets the fries are swimming in the sauce.

Charging 20 cents per sauce is ridiculous but it is because of greedy pigs and or freeloaders who make it that way by taking too much. I bet when they were free he or she just took a bunch home so they did not have to buy more. Even under new management they will charge because of greedy pig free loaders because they will see people like the OP taking way more than they want. Yes four sauces for one medium?

fries is too much. Thanks for making them charge for the sauces with your greediness and freeloading habits pig.

Irish you hit it on the nail. Could have said it a bit nicer though.

They have been charging extra for sauce for 5-10 years now. There was a time when they gave the sauce for free.

However people took more than they needed. Asking for four sauces for one one order of fries is a bit much.

What is ridiculous is people like you who take more than they need. You probably take some home for later I bet.

Even if you do use them all. If you cannot afford 20 cents for each packet than do without. They cost money for them as well you know. They are not a food bank.

If you cannot afford the extra sause than don't ask for it. You are asking for a lot.

Why do you need four packets. You are greedy and it is because of greedy people like you they are charging more.
